Where are you located?
Lithe Life is located on the upper west side of Manhattan, easily accessible via the 1, 2, 3, B, and C trains, or the M5, M7, M11, M79, and M104 buses.
How do I prepare for my first appointment?
Once you schedule your initial consultation, you will receive an introductory packet. It is important that you answer the questions as honestly and completely as possible, as the more information you provide, the better I can serve you. Remember, Lithe Life is a safe, non-judgmental environment where our focus is helping you reach your goals.
What is a food diary?
A food diary is a record of everything you eat over a given period of time. It helps us understand your eating habits and food preferences, and assists us in creating a personalized nutritional plan suited to your taste and lifestyle.
How quickly can I expect to reach my goal weight?
The amount of time it will take you to reach your goal will depend upon a variety of factors including, the amount of weight that needs to be lost, your current level of muscle mass, the speed of your metabolism, and the degree to which you can comfortably make dietary and exercise adjustments. We will discuss your individual timeline during our second appointment, as well as how you can accurately measure your progress at home.
Can I lose weight in a specific area of my body?
Although it’s not possible to lose weight in only one area, we will use various techniques to target your “problem” spots and maximally sculpt your body.
Do I have to book a follow-up appointment?
Follow-ups are optional. They provide an opportunity for modification, feedback and support, and also help with the transition from weight loss to weight stabilization. As clients often attribute their success to these sessions, they are highly recommended.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
In the event of rescheduling, Lithe Life requires a minimum of 24 hours notice. After this point, you will be charged 75% of the original appointment fee.
